We Need Your Help!
As a volunteer-driven network of professors and allies committed to equal and accessible higher education, we will need your support to get things moving this month. Our first classes begin in just a few weeks, but we have many needs in the mean time. Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated. All funds will go toward the cost of books, materials, and transportation to ensure that all students receive the education they deserve.

Freedom University Mission
Freedom University formed in the summer of 2011 in
response to a spate of anti-immigrant laws passed in
Georgia during the previous year. During that time, the
University System of Georgia's Board of Regents banned
undocumented students from the state's most exclusive
research universities. Many of these students have resided
in Georgia since early childhood. Freedom University is a
volunteer-driven organization that provides rigorous college-
level instruction to all academically qualified students
regardless of their immigration status. Our faculty are fully
committed to providing our students with college courses
identical to those taught at the state's most exclusive
universities. We believe that all Georgians have an equal
right to a quality education. Separate and unequal access to
higher education contravenes this country's most cherished
principles of equality and justice for all.
